Tourguide system

For more than 25 years as an active tour guide, I have always regretted that despite every attempt to speak audibly, the challenge of drowning out ambient noise both indoors and out never has been really overcome. The environment frequently presents an almost insurmountable problem -- customers want to hear the information -- why else sign up for a guided tour ? But audio conditions are sometimes not really optimal, undermining the
groups attention – result: clients feel they don’t really get what they paid for.

Fortunately I have found an effective way to enable tour members to make use of wireless-hi-tech sound technology - called tourguide-system. Basically it is simply a light, easy-to-carry wireless receiver about size and weight of a pack of cigarettes with an equally light weight headset, compatible even with hearing aids.

One can adjust the volume to individual comfort level, and it does not mess up one's hair.

Although the headset does not entirely block ambient noise, tour guests can now understand every word I say, not having to strain to hear me, concentrate on important information and enjoy the full learning experience. For the photographers in the group, this technology is a boon. They can enjoy the lecture and they hear where the group is going to while getting their shots. They can even move about to seek the best angels, and thanks to my powerful transmitter they can hear me even about 300 feet away. So I use it in Munich, in museums, on city walks, in parks, castles and churches and during excursions (when applicable).

Further more, when I point out an interesting building or item with my back turned to the group everyone still can hear what I am saying. Should a group member pose a question, the person at the end of the group will hear both -- the question and my answer. This new experience is remarkable – my groups are always favorably impressed and delighted by the quality and by the fact that they don’t have to strain to hear me. Now they no longer have to read lips when it is noisy, but they can concentrate on the sights and at the same time enjoy my explanations.

Sounds interesting? Want to get the full tour seeing   a n d     H E A R I N G   everything both indoors and out, then please ask in your inquiry about the Tour Guide System (recommended for groups of 10 people +) or check it out on www.listentech.com. I’m looking forward to your email !
