Munich is the city of museums and exhibitions. Whether you are interested in the old masters or the contemporary art scene – I take you to our art galleries and help you to see and understand the overwhelming art works. You’ll find everything here, from the paintings in the time-honored halls of the Alte Pinakothek to the masterpieces of the elegant Neue Pinakothek, from fine modern art on display in the Modern Pinakothek with its airy architecture to the recently opened Brandhorst Museum, our newest collection of contemporary works.

If you are interested in handicraft you may want to see the Etruscan gold collection in the State Collections of Antiquities or the Medieval craftsmanship in the Treasury.

Or maybe it is techniques and natural sciences? The hands-on Deutsches Museum teaches and gives insight and knowledge in a vivid and dynamic way. And the building itself is a masterpiece of architecture, built on a former sandbank in the Isar river.

The changing exhibitions of the Jewish Museum are arranged in an in interesting new concept and show culture and life of our Jewish community in the past and in the present. But these are only some of our museums, we have many more and I will be happy to introduce them to you.
