The Old Pinakothek (Painting Gallery) is located in the Museum Quarter of Munich – a rich collection of paintings from the Midddle Ages to the Mid of the 18th Century. South of Munich in Upper Bavaria is
the King’s Lake, surrounded by mountains and a Natural Park. From here it is only a short drive to Berchtesgaden, to the salt mines, to Salzburg and the Lake District of Salzburg.
